Vintage 1960s MCM Wood Lamp Textile Cylinder Shade Mid Century Modern Lighting

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage wood table lamp with its original accompanying beige cylindrical textile shade. Circa '60s. The lamp has an on/off pull chain with a small wooden accent piece on the end (see photo). There are no labels or tags present - we are uncertain as to the maker. Also, the lamp still retains its original gray felt on the underside of the round wooden base.

MEASUREMENTS: With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 28.5" tall x 9" wide x 9" deep. The shade is approx. 19" tall x 6.5" in diameter. The round wooden base at the very bottom of the lamp is approx. 9" in diameter.

CONDITION: The lamp is in very good condition - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The round wooden base has a small circular blemish on the surface - it looks like it may have been from an adhesive label - we did not attempt to clean or remove it. The shade has a slight discoloration ring on the inside - presumably from the heat given off by a light bulb. This slight discoloration is pretty much only seen when looking at the interior of the shade. With the bulb turned on and off, it isn't overly noticeable from the exterior (please see photos). The electrical wiring is in good shape with no issues to report - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having the wiring inspected by a licensed electrician prior to long-term use. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described".
