Vintage MCM Harlequin Diamonds Fiberglass Shade Mid Century Modern Lighting 50s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a super cool round vintage fiberglass lamp shade. Circa '50s. Materials: Fiberglass, Wire. Colors: Beige, Green, Black. The shade has an alternating diamond / harlequin pattern along the external surface. The diamonds are in green and black over a beige background. There are also fibrous filaments embedded into the fiberglass which gives the shade some texture. Uncertain as to the manufacturer, but this particular pattern doesn't come around too often.

MEASUREMENTS: The shade is approx. 8" tall x 18.5" in diameter.

CONDITION: Good vintage condition, but not 100% perfect. There are a few individual holes where the lacing has popped (see photos). There is also what appears to be a repair whereby a previous owner used the lacing to secure one of the metal rods to the framework ring (again, see photo). A simple spot weld would remedy this. Despite this repair and the few spots where the lacing skipped the holes, the shade is still structurally solid and intact. There are no rips, holes, tears, stains, burns, etc. There is a little wear to the fiberglass along the top edge of the shade where it comes into contact with the metal framework ring, but nothing drastic - we're only mentioning it for accuracy. The shade functions as it should, and displays nicely. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described".
