ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing vintage googie style end or accent table. Circa '50s. The table features two different boomerang-shaped shelves. The smaller upper shelf has three holes on the underside surface which allows it to attach directly to the iron base. The larger, lower shelf has no attachment points - it was designed to be free-floating (see photos). We never seen one of these before, so we're uncertain as to who designed / manufactured it - could be a custom piece. It's a great table that'll look sweet in any modern or atomic-themed interior setting.
PLEASE NOTE: We will be listing a matching coffee table as well, presumably by the same company / designer, as they came from the same estate.
MEASUREMENTS: The table stands approx. 15" tall (measured from the ground surface to the top of the upper shelf). The top wooden boomerang shelf measures approx. 18.25" x 13", while the larger lower wooden boomerang shelf measures approx. 39" x 15". The iron base measures approx. 36" x 13".
CONDITION: Good vintage condition. There is a small shallow edge chip on the lower shelf (see photo). It can easily be touched up or just left alone. The top surfaces of each shelf also have some faint, superficial scratch marks from use (see photos). A little black polish will get rid of them quite easily. Again, they didn't bother us, so we just left them along. The metal framework of the table is in great shape - no dents, dings, breaks, repairs, etc. It is being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - please ask any questions that you may have, and we will respond back to you in timely manner.
PLEASE NOTE: SHIPPING IS NOT $1. LISTING IS FOR LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY - NO SHIPPING UNLESS BUYER ARRANGES AND PAYS FOR THE TRANSPORT CHARGES.
