ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a magnificent vintage starburst wall hanging clock. Circa '60s. Color: Gold. Materials: Metal, Glass. Each of the projecting rays is constructed of metal (brass), not plastic - they have a very art deco appearance, in our opinion. The glass face on the front of the housing has a small hinge, so it opens outward. The hour markers are roman numerals. The back side of the round metal housing encasement is stamped "Made in West Germany" (see photos). No key present.
MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 32" tall x 32" wide. The clock face encased behind glass is approx. 7" in diameter. The clock is substantially heavy - it weights approx. 15.8 lbs.
CONDITION: Aside from a few small discoloration marks to the round metal face inside the glass encasement (see photos), the clock is in good condition - no chips, cracks, breaks, bends, repairs, rust, oxidation, etc. We have not attempted to clean or polish the clock in any manner - we are presenting it for sale exactly as it was acquired. It was ticking when it was acquired, but has since stopped. Just needs to be wound up with a key, which as we mentioned, is not present - one will have to be purchased by the purchaser. It is being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - if you have questions, we encourage you to ask them prior to purchase, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner. Thanks for looking!
