ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a nice atomic era vintage table lamp. Circa '50s / '60s. Materials: Ceramic, Wood. The ceramic portion of the base is bulbous in shape, and the surface is textured. It's a taupe color accented with white spotting. Sandwiched between the ceramic portion of the base and the light socket is a wooden neck. The ceramic section rests atop a round brass base, with four gold atomic balls separating the two. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch used to functionality. We are uncertain as to the maker - there are no labels, tags or signatures present. It will be left up to the purchaser to provide their own shade as there currently isn't one. It's a great lamp that'll look nice in any interior setting.
MEASUREMENTS: The lamp measures approx. 37" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the harp) x 8" wide x 8" deep. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 28" high. The round brass base at the bottom of the lamp measures approx. 6.25" in diameter.
CONDITION: Overall the lamp is in very good condition. The ceramic section of the base is free from chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc., and it's very clean. The brass base shows a few minor spots of tarnishing, but nothing overly significant, in our opinion. The brass is free from dents, dings, rust, oxidation, etc. There are a few small areas of color loss on the wooden neck - it can easily be touched up, or just left - they didn't bother us, so we left them in the condition in which the lamp was acquired. The electrical wiring has some adhesive tape over a small section of it. While the lamp is in fully-functioning, working order, we'd recommend rewiring it prior to long-term use, just to be safe. The harp is also missing the finial, which can easily be replaced. It is being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - if you have questions, we encourage you to ask them prior to purchase, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner. Thanks for looking!
