ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a round vintage fiberglass lamp shade. Circa '50s. The fiberglass material is beige in color, and it has overlapping black and white swirl designs throughout on the exterior surface - it's a wild one! We are uncertain as to the maker - there are no labels or tags present.
MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 7" tall x 13" in diameter.
CONDITION: Good vintage condition. There are a few small faint blemishes on the fiberglass material (see photos) - we have not attempted to clean the shade in any manner, so we are uncertain as to whether or not they'll come out (and they are towards the front of the shade). The lacing appears to be original, and is intact for the most part. There a few disconnections in the lacing along the spine on the back side of the shade, and one along the top ring (again, see photos). They do not appear to be affecting the stability of the shade. The lacing holes are still intact if one wishes to replace the lacing entirely. Aside from that, there are no rips, holes, tears, creases, burn marks, etc. It is being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - if you have questions, we encourage you to ask them prior to purchase, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner. We will gladly "reserve" or "hold" an item, but it will require a 25% non-refundable down payment. Balance due will be spread out over installment payments, one being due two weeks after the initial down-payment, and the final payment (which will include the listed shipping expenses) will be due two weeks after that.
