Vintage MCM Abstract Chalkware Lamp + Shade Mid Century Modern 50s 60s Lighting

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing vintage chalkware lamp with its accompanying textile covered shade. Circa '50s / '60s. Materials: Chalkware, Brass, Textile Shade. Colors: Brown, Orange, White, Beige. The base is a chalkware base is dark brown color, and it has recessed designs along the front which are accentuated in an orange and white color (see photos). Just above the base and below the socket are six (6) radiating brass accent pieces that give the base an atomic element. The shade is a textile covered shade on the exterior, with a plastic lining on the inside (again, see photos). The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket for functionality. We are uncertain as to the maker of this lamp - there are no signatures, labels or tags present.

MEASUREMENTS: With the shade attached, the lamp measures approx. 35" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the harp) x 15.5" wide x 15.5" deep. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 22" high. The chalkware base alone measures approx. 14" tall x 7" wide x 7" deep. The brass accent pieces adorning the base just above chalkware each measure approx. 5" long. The textile covered shade measures approx. 15.5" tall x 14" in diameter (measured across the top opening) x 15.5" in diameter (measured across the bottom opening).

CONDITION: Both the base and shade are in very good, all-original condition. The base has three teeny tiny flecks of paint missing which can easily be touched up or just left alone (see photos) - they did not bother us, so we left them as the lamp was acquired. The chalkware is free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. It could probably use a gentle cleaning, but does display nicely as it is in its current state. The shade is free from rips, holes, tears, burn marks, repairs, etc. The inner plastic lining has some subtle waves to it on the back side where the seam is - not really noticable unless you are looking for it - we're solely making mention of it for accuracy. The electric wiring is in nice shape - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order.
