ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a beautiful framed vintage abstract expressionist oil painting on canvas board. Circa '60s. Colors: Multi-color. The painting has some nice scattered texture throughout (see photos). We are uncertain as to who the artist is - there does not appear to be a signature on the front. The back side of the frame is lined with paper, so there could be a signature on the back side of the canvas board - we did not attempt to remove the paper to investigate it. The painting was purchased at an estate in the South City section of Saint Louis. It was found hiding out in a closet within a closet and it was completely wrapped in plastic to keep it protected. It's a great vintage painting that'll look wonderful in any setting.
MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 31.25" tall x 41.25" wide.
CONDITION: Very good vintage condition with only the slightest traces of wear that are consistent with age and handling. There are no holes, scratches, breaks, repairs, etc. The frame is solid, and is structurally intact. There is a wire hanging mechanism presently to provide for easy hanging and display. We will gladly "reserve" or "hold" an item, but it will require a 25% non-refundable down payment. Balance due will be spread out over installment payments, one being due two weeks after the initial down-payment, and the final payment (which will include the listed shipping expenses) will be due two weeks after that.
