ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage atomic fish TV lamp. Circa '50s. Materials: Metal, Wire. Colors: Black, Gold. The light socket is concealed by the round black encasement that the fish is directly attached to from the front. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket for functionality. The lamp does not appear to be signed anywhere, and there are no labels / tags present, so we do not know who created it. It's great for vintage fish collectors, and is suitable for all interior settings.
MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 9.25" tall x 10.75" wide. The fish measures approx. 8.75" tall x 10.75" wide. The round metal encasement that the fish is attached to measures approx. 6.25" in diameter x 2" deep. The round black metal base at the very bottom measures approx. 5.25" in diameter.
CONDITION: Given its age, we'd say it's in very good condition. There are no dents, dings, breaks, repairs, rust, etc. The black color needs some touch-up in spots, but nothing major (see photos). The gold coloration of the fish shows some light tarnishing and patination from age - we have not attempted to clean or polish it. The electrical wiring looks to be original, and it is in good shape - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order, and is being sold "as-is" and "as-described". If you have questions, please ask them prior to purchasing and we will happily respond back to you.
