ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a nice vintage ceramic zig-zag table lamp that was designed by KRON. Circa '50s. Colors: Chartreuse, Gold, Beige. The accompanying two tier fiberglass shade is designed using a cardboard like material, and it has a gold lace applied to the outer surface (see photos). We are not certain if the shade is original to the lamp, but it's a great match if it's not. The lamp operates using an on/off toggle switch that is located at the socket. The lamp does not appear to be signed insofar as we've been able to detect.
MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 24" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial). The ceramic base measures approx.13.75" tall x 7" wide x 5" deep. The double tiered fiberglass shade alone measures approx. 9" tall x 13" in diameter (top tier) x 16" in diameter (bottom tier).
CONDITION: Very good condition. The ceramic base is free from chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. The gold coloration appears to be nice throughout. The shade is in very good condition. There are a few small and very faint old moisture marks on the interior, but nothing that interferes with the display - they do not show forth when the lamp is on or off. There is a minor wear in the gold lacing by the back seam (see photo), but again, nothing terrible - it's stable. The wiring is free from frays, splits, exposed and/or brittle sections. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. The lamp is being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner. All sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
