Vintage 60s MCM Quartite Creative Group Chalkware Lamp Mid Century Modern Lighting

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage Quartite Creative Group table lamp. Circa '60s. Color: Beige. Materials: Chalkware atop a round brass metal base. The lamp has a standard rotary knob switch which is used for functionality. There is a Quartite Creative Group label affixed to the light socket, as well as a UL label being there as well (see photo). The lamp is inscribed with the "© Quartite Creative Group 1960" on the back side towards the bottom of the base where the electrical cord emerges (see photo). The lamp does not presently have a shade - that'll be left up to the purchaser to provide on their own.

MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 18.5" tall x 6" wide x 6" deep. The round brass base at the bottom of the lamp is approx. 5" in diameter.

CONDITION: The lamp is in good condition for its age. There is some light surface wear, but nothing that we'd deem objectionable given the age of the lamp (see photos). There are two little green marks on the base - we don't know what they are, nor did we attempt to clean them off (see photos). The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it's in good shape - no frays, splits, exposed and/or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having the wiring inspected by a licensed electrician prior to long-term use.
