Vintage MCM Ceramic Lamp Textured Teardrops Mid Century Modern Lighting 1960s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a great vintage ceramic table lamp. Circa '60s. Materials: Ceramic, Wood Base. Colors: Green, Orange and Yellow. The surface of the lamp is textured with teardrop-shaped designs that are slightly raised from the rest of the body of the lamp. The lamp functions with a basic rotary knob switch that is located at the socket. There are no labels or tags present - we are uncertain as to the maker. No shade present - it'll be left up to the purchaser to provide their own shade. It's a swell looking lamp that is suitable for all interior settings.

MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 33.75" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial) x 7" wide x 7" deep. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 26.25" high. The ceramic portion of the base is 21" tall x 7" wide x 7" deep. The round wooden base at the very bottom of the lamp is 5.5" in diameter.

CONDITION: Excellent condition - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. - just some light non-objectionable wear (ie. a few flea bites) that comes with age and handling (please examine photos). The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it's in very good shape - no frays, splits, exposed and/or brittle areas. The lamp has been tested, and it is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having the wiring inspected by a licensed electrician prior to long-term use.
