Vintage MCM White Ceramic Pottery Lamp with Holes Mid Century Modern Lighting

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage ceramic table lamp with its accompanying cloth shade. Circa '60s. Materials: Ceramic, Wood, Metal. Color: White. The lamp base is painted a matte white, and there are randomly scattered circular holes in the material which gives it a very space age vibe. The lamp has a beige cloth shade with plastic lining. The cloth material is slightly textured, and there is a band of gold trim at the top and bottom of the shade (see photos). The lamp operates by a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket. We are uncertain as to the manufacturer - no labels, tags or signatures present.

MEASUREMENTS: With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 40.75" tall x 15" wide x 15" deep. The lamp stands approx. 35.75" tall (measured from the bottom of the round metal base to the top of the finial). The distance to the light socket is 25" high. The white ceramic portion of the base measures 15" tall x 7" wide x 7" deep. The round metal base is 6.5" in diameter. The cloth shade measures 18" tall x 13" in diameter (top) x 15" in diameter (bottom).

CONDITION: The lamp is in very good structural condition - there are no chips, crack, breaks, repairs, etc. to the ceramic material. The ceramic appears to have been repainted at some juncture in time. The shade has some faint spotting on the material, but nothing that we'd deem objectionable. No breaks, repairs, etc. to the shade. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it's in very good shape - no frays, splits, exposed and/or brittle areas. The lamp has been tested, and it is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having the wiring inspected by a licensed electrician prior to long-term use.

NOTE: If you do not wish to have shade, it will cut down on the cost of shipping considerably.
