ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a beautiful vintage table lamp. Circa '60s. The surface of the lamp is an off-white textured ceramic, and it rests nestled in a wooden base that has five arms that capture the ceramic portion. There are grooves in the ceramic that capture the textured ceramic to form a nice union. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is used for functionality. There is a red adhesive label on the socket, but no indicator as to who the designer / manufacturer is. There is no shade present - it'll be left up to the purchaser to provide their own. It's a fantastic lamp that'll be sure to make a statement in any room, and is suitable for all interior settings.
MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 37.25" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the harp) x 12.25" wide x 12.25" deep. The distance measured from the bottom of the round wooden base to the top of the socket is approx. 29" high. The white textured ceramic portion of the lamp is approx. 18" tall x 12.25" wide x 12.25" deep. The round wooden base at the bottom of the lamp is 8" in diameter.
CONDITION: Very good condition - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. - just some light surface wear that is consistent with age and handling (please see photos). The lamp could benefit from a gentle cleaning. It is pretty clean in its current state, so we just decided to leave it in the condition in which it was acquired. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it's in very good shape - no frays, splits, exposed and/or brittle areas. The lamps have been tested, and they are in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having the wiring inspected by a licensed electrician prior to long-term use.
