Rare Vintage REMBRANDT Lamp 50s MCM Metal Biomorphic Mid Century Modern Lighting

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage biomorphic table lamp that was manufactured by REMBRANDT. Circa '50s. Materials: Metal. The lamp features two adjoining biomorphic metal accent pieces set atop a round metal base. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket for functionality. There is a milk glass shade the surrounds the light socket. The lamp still retains its original Rembrandt label on the metal cup that surrounds the light socket (see photo). It will be left up to the purchaser to provide their own shade which rests atop the milk glass diffuser shade, which will be provided.

MEASUREMENTS: Stands approx. 17" tall (measured from the bottom of the round metal base to the top of the milk glass shade that surrounds the light socket) x 6" wide (measured at the base) x 6" deep (again, measured at the base). The distance from the bottom of the lamp to the light socket is approx. 19.5" high. The two metal accent pieces measure just under 12" tall (this measurement does not include the round base). The round base is approx. 6" in diameter.

CONDITION: Overall the lamp is in good condition for its age. Structurally there are no issues - no dents, dings, breaks, repairs, etc. The metal is a little dull in color, and does show some spotty tarnishing and patination from age (see photos). We have not attempted to clean or polish the lamp in any manner, but it should clean up nicely - we decided we'll leave that up to the next owner to handle. The lamp is in full working order. The wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it's in great shape - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition.
