Vintage MCM Turquoise White Ceramic Lamp Teardrops Mid Century Modern Lighting

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a super cool vintage ceramic table lamp that dates back to the '50s. The base is ever so slightly textured, and it has a mottled appearance when viewed up close. The ceramic is an off-white color, and there are recessed teardrop shapes that are done in a turquoise color. Just beneath the light socket and above the ceramic portion of the lamp is a short wooden neck (see photos). The round portion of the ceramic at the bottom of the lamp is also the same turquoise color. The lamp operates via a standard on/off rotary knob switch. We are uncertain as to the maker - there are no labels or tags present. The socket still retains its original UL label (see photos). There is no shade present - it will be left up to the purchaser to provide their own.

MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 33.5" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial) x 7" wide x 7" deep. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 23" high. The round base at the bottom of the lamp is approx. 6.25" in diameter.

CONDITION: Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. There are a few small faint blemish marks that should come out with a gentle cleaning (see photos). They didn't bother us, so we just left them alone. The wiring is in great shape - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The plug tip looks like it was probably replaced at one point in time by a previous owner. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order.
