Vintage MCM Stiffel Hollywood Regency Lamps Mid Century Modern Lighting 1960s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a pair of vintage STIFFEL table lamps. Circa '60s. Style: Hollywood Regency. Materials: Metal, Resin, Brass. The lamps feature a cast resin obelisk-shaped base in a sage color that is designed to look like faux wood. One of the lamps shows a bit more faux grain than the other. The obelisk sits atop a brass colored metal plinth at the bottom, and just above it is a stylized art deco looking crown done in a brass colored metal. Each lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch for functionality. Neither of the lamps appears to be marked. They do not come with shades - it'll be left up to the purchaser to provide their own.

MEASUREMENTS: Each lamp stands approx. 33" tall x 5" wide (base) x 5" deep).

CONDITION: Both lamps are in good condition, but they do have some minor cosmetic flaws. First off, there is some edge wear to the resin on the back sides (see photos), and a few minor scratches here and there. Nothing major, but being mentioned for accuracy. One of the brass colored crowns shows some color loss - it's towards the back side of the lamp, so when it is in position, it isn't seen from the front (again, see photos). Lastly, one of the points on the top side of the crown is flat - judging from very close inspect, this is a flaw that occurred during the manufacturing process - it is not something that broke off as a result of mishandling (see photo). Aside from those mentions, the lamps appear to be good - no breaks, bends, repairs, rust, etc. The electrical wiring is free from issues - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas on the wire, etc. We always strongly recommend having a licensed professional check the wiring prior to long-term use. The lamps are both in fully-functioning, working condition.
