ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage portable SOLID STATE radio / phonograph. Made in Japan. Circa '70s. Materials: Plastic. Colors: Red, White. Has a 45 rpm adaptor in the upper left-hand corner (see photos). Does not appear to take batteries - it plugs into a wall socket.
MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 11" long x 9" wide x 2.25" tall.
CONDITION: Cosmetically, it is in very good condition. There are a few superficial scratch marks, and an imprint on the mat that sits on the turntable platter - both nothing major, but being mentioned for accuracy. Everything turns on as it should. The turntable has been tested at both speeds, and it works. The only thing is the volume adjustment seems doesn't seem to get all that loud - it appears to be at a constant, low volume. Not sure why that is, so it should probably be looked at. The arm has a needle, and it sounds fine. The radio turns on, but being that it is an AM band, it doesn't get much more than static. The cover is missing as well. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - please ask any questions that you may have, and we will respond back to you in timely manner.
