ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a stunning abstract oil painting on stretched canvas by artist, Johan Middelthon. Circa '50s. The painting is titled "The Indentity Parade". Colors: Multi-color. The painting features triangular and circular shapes that overlap in varying colors and sizes (see photos). It's contained within a wooden frame, and there is a wire hanging mechanism affixed to the back. There is an artist siganture along the back side of the canvas, and there's also a label attached to the frame with the artist's name, and the title of the piece (see photos).
MEASUREMENTS: Including the wooden frame, it measures approx. 39.5" tall x 23.5" wide. The canvas alone, excluding the frame, measures approx. 32.75" tall x 16.75" wide.
CONDITION: Good, all original condition. The canvas is free from rips, holes, tears, punctures, etc. There is light wear consistent with age, but nothing that we'd consider damage or the interferes with the display of the piece. The frame is in nice condition, and is structurally solid. There is light surface wear, but mainly on the back side - it could use a fresh application of stain on the backside, but that's about it. Displays well, and is ready to be enjoyed!
