Vintage MCM Ceramic Lamps Fiberglass Shades Mid Century Modern Lighting 1950s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a super cool set of vintage ceramic table lamps with their original accompanying fiberglass shades. Circa '50s. Materials: Ceramic, Fiberglass. The bases of each lamp are pyramidal in shape. The front and back surface are textured, while the side surfaces are smooth. Additionally, the front surface of each base has a slightly raised black squiggle design. This design is also echoed in the front panel of each shade (see photos). The fiberglass shades are also pyramidal in shape, but taller than the bases themselves. The fiberglass is a beige color, and the painted on squiggle design is done in black. Both lamps have a standard on/off toggle switch that is located at the socket for functionality. We are uncertain as to the maker / manufacturer - there are no labels or tags present.

MEASUREMENTS: With the shades attached, each lamp stands approx. 26.25" tall x 10" wide x 10" deep. The distance from the bottom of the lamp base to the light socket is approx. 13.5" high. The ceramic bases measure approx. 10.5" tall x 6" wide x 6" deep. The fiberglass shades measure approx. 15.75" tall x 5" wide (top) x 5" deep (top) x 10" wide (bottom) x 10" deep (bottom)

CONDITION: The bases for both lamps are in excellent condition - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The fiberglass shades appear to have darkened from age, and could benefit from a cleaning - we chose to leave them as they were acquired as we felt they display fine as they are. The painted black squiggle designs on both shades shows some wear (see photos) - suppose they can be touched up or just left alone - we'll leave that up to the purchaser to decide on. The lacing appears to be in good shape on both shades. The electrical wiring is in nice shape as well, and appears to be original to both lamps - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. Both lamps are in fully functioning, working order. They'll make a great addition to any modern interior setting.
