ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage still life painting done on black velvet. Circa '60s. Theme: Still Life. Colors: Multi-color. While we cannot clearly make out the signature, it is signed in the lower left-hand corner of the velvet canvas (see photos). The painting is encased in a wooden frame the is painted a turquoise blue with gold border trim. It's a nice piece of art the is suitable for all interior settings.
MEASUREMENTS: Including the frame, approx. 26" tall x 22.25" wide.
CONDITION: Good vintage condition - the black velvet canvas is free from having rips, holes, tears, stains, etc. There are some faint scratch marks which is fairly typical for these pieces. When hanging on a wall and viewed from a distance, they aren't readily noticeable at all - one has to be looking for them to really know that they are there. The frame has light signs of wear that are consistent with age and handling; it is structurally solid - just needs a new wire hanging mechanism draped across the back as there presently isn't one in place. Displays well, and is ready to be enjoyed!
