ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage oil painting on artist board that dates back to the '60s. Theme: Abstract Cityscape / Landscape. Colors: Multi-colored. The painting does not appear to be signed; however, there is still a portion of an original label on the backside which partially reads Van Amstel of Culver City, California (see photos). There is a jagged saw tooth hanging mechanism at the top center of the back side of the frame for quick and easy hanging / display purposes.
MEASUREMENTS: Including the frame, approx. 51" wide x 19.25" tall.
CONDITION: Good vintage condition. The painting itself is in fine shape with no problems to report. It could probably benefit from a gentle cleaning, but displays well in its current state. The beige cloth matting that comes between the painting and the frame shows gentle signs of wear in the form of scattered faint spotting, but nothing that detracts, and when looked at from a distance, one doesn't really notice it. The brown paper dust jacket lining on the back side of the frame has some rips / tears - we left if alone as it still has a portion of an original label attached to it (see photos). All-in-all, displays well and is ready to be enjoyed!
