ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a set of vintage plaster of Paris carnival prize figural statues. Circa '50s. Materials: Plaster of Paris, Chalkware. Colors: Multi-color. One figure depicts a nude woman with a mohawk, while the other depicts a man with a top hat and polka dot patch of cloth covering his private parts, while he has what looks like a cigar in his mouth. Both have exaggerated bodily features (see photos). They are unsigned insofar as we've been able to detect - we are not certain who manufactured them, but they're quite interesting!
MEASUREMENTS: The male figure stands approx. 12.25" tall x 3.5" wide, while the female figure stands approx. 12" tall x 3.5" wide.
CONDITION: Good vintage condition. Light wear consistent with age and handling. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. There are a few flea bites to the paint which can be left alone or they can be easily touched up. They could benefit from a gentle cleaning - we just left them as acquired. They display well and ready to be enjoyed.
