Pair MCM Vintage C. Miller Skyscrapper Lamps Deco Cubist Geometric Lighting 50s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a pair of rare vintage ceramic "skyscrapper" lamps manufactured by C. Miller during the 1950s. Materials: Ceramic. Colors: Turquoise with gold highlights. These lamps have on/off toggle switches located at the sockets for functionality. These lamps are unsigned, but definitely C. Miller. They came in two different sizes - the larger were often signed, while the smaller were not. These lamps do not currently have shades - it'll be left up to the purchaser to provide their own.

MEASUREMENTS: Each lamp measures approx. 11.25" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the light socket. The ceramic portions alone measure approx. 7.75" tall x 6" wide. The round base at the very bottom of each lamp measures approx. 4" in diameter.

CONDITION: With the exception of some gold color loss in the accented areas, the lamps are in great physical shape - there are not breaks, cracks, chips, repairs, etc. They could use a gentle cleaning, but are fine in their current condition. The electrical wiring looks to be original, and there are no issues - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. Both lamps are in fully-functioning, working order. As is the case with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use.
