Vintage MCM Frederic Weinberg Sculptural Horse Wall Hanging Mid Century Modern

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage sculptural wall hanging by Frederic Weinberg depicting a trio or horses. Materials: Durex, Metal Bar. Color: Brown. There are some numbers (618) written in pencil on the back surface. The wall hanging has two wire metal loops embedded into the durex for hanging purposes. Unsigned, but documented.

MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 36" tall x 27" wide x 1" deep.

CONDITION: Good vintage condition. These wall hangings always have minor surface wear here and there. This one does have some scattered surface blemishes, but nothing that particularly interferes with the display of the piece. There are some stable surface cracks to the finish, but again - nothing unusual given the age of the item. There is one surface crack on the middle horse towards its chest that is a little more visible (see close-up photos). None of the surface cracks go all the way through to the back side. The sculpture is extremely stable given these imperfections; they are more cosmetic in our opinion, and they can easily be touched up by the right person. They did not bother us, so we just left them alone. Displays well, and is ready to be enjoyed in a new home.
