Vintage MCM Ceramic UFO Saucer Disc Lamp Atomic Brass Mid Century Modern 50s Lighting

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage atomic era table lamp. Circa '50s. Materials: Ceramic, Brass, Metal. Colors: Beige, Gold. The ceramic disc is beige with gold accents running throughout it. The lamp features six (6) curved accents rods emerging from the top of the disc, each ending in a small metal atomic ball. There are also six (6) longer accent rods just below the ceramic portion of the lamp which anchor it to the round metal base at the very bottom of the lamp (see photos). The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch located at the socket for functionality. We are uncertain as to the maker - there are no labels or tags present. It will be left up to the buyer to provide their own shade as there isn't one present.

MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 28" (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial) x 8" wide x 8" deep. The height of the socket from the bottom of the base is approx. 20.5" high.

CONDITION: Good vintage condition. There is some spotty tarnishing on the base (see photos). The ceramic disc is free from chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. The metal components show some nice age-related patination. The electrical wiring appears to be original, and is in good shape - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order, and displays nicely. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe.
