done on artist board and framed within forced perspective wooden frames. Circa '50s. While we cannot clearly decipher the signature, the paintings are each individually signed in the lower corner of the canvas board (see photos). They are set within amazing forced perspective wooden frames that are red in color. Each has a hanging mechanism affixed to the top center on the back side of the frame. Simply put - they're great!
MEASUREMENTS: Including the frames, each measures approx. 15.75" tall, with the top of the frame length being approx. 20" wide, and the bottom of the frame length being approx. 17.5" wide. The paintings themselves each measure approx. 13.75" wide x 10.75" tall.
CONDITION: Very good condition. One of the frames has some of the red paint flaking off on both the front and back sides (see photos). This can very easily be touched up, or just left alone - it didn't bother us, so we just left it in the condition in which it was acquired. Aside from that the frames are structurally solid and display nicely. The paintings themselves don't appear to have any damage - just light wear that is consistent with age and handling. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described". Please ask any questions that you may have prior to purchasing, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner.
