ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage mad men metal / wire mesh floating waste basket designed by Maurice Duchin. Circa '50s. Color: Green. Unsigned.
MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 15" tall x 15 wide x 12" deep. The basket itself measures approx. 12" tall x 11-3/4" wide x 8-1/2" deep.
CONDITION: Structurally the basket is in good shape - there are no breaks, bends, repairs, etc. It was repainted green at some point by a previous owner, and there are chips to the paint throughout (please see photos). In our opinion, it's a very good candidate for a repaint. Aside from that, it could benefit from a gentle cleaning, which we'll leave up to the winning purchaser to handle. It functions properly, and is ready for a new home.
