ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage ceramic pottery and walnut table lamp. Circa '60s. Materials: Ceramic, Walnut. Colors: Browns, White. The surface of the lamp body is ribbed / textured (see photos). The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob at the socket which is used to control its functionality. We are uncertain as to who designed the lamp as there are no labels or tags present. It'll make a nice statement wherever it ends up, and it's suitable for all interior settings.
MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 32" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the harp) x 8.5" wide x 8.5" deep. The distance measured from the bottom of the round wooden base to the top of the socket is approx. 25" high. The textured ceramic portion of the lamp is approx. 14" tall x 8.5" wide x 8.5" deep. The round wooden base at the bottom of the lamp is 6.25" in diameter.
CONDITION: Very good condition - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. - just some light surface wear that is consistent with age and handling (please see photos). There is a very small spot where it looks like the surface finish didn't take when the lamp was fabricated - it does detract, but we're mentioning it for accuracy (see photos). The electrical wiring looks to be original, and is in good shape with no issues to report. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having the wiring inspected by a licensed professional prior to long-term use.
