Pair Rare Vintage MCM Biomorphic Abstract Pottery Lamps Mid Century Modern Lighting 1950s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an incredible and rare set of abstract / biomorphic glazed pottery table lamps. Circa '50s. Materials: Terracotta. Colors: Coral, Brown. The lamp bases have an interesting abstract / biomorphic shape to them. Each lamp comes equipped with a standard on/off rotary knob switch for functionality. The electrical cords emerge from the bottom side of each of the lamps. The lamps are not signed - we are uncertain as to who designed them, but they do remind us of lamps designed by Marianna von Allesch. It will be left up to the purchaser to provide their own shades as the lamps presently are without them.

MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 24.25" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the light socket) x 6.5" wide x 5" deep. The pottery portion of the lamp stands approx. 18" tall.

CONDITION: Excellent condition - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The colors are nice and unfaded. The electrical wiring looks to be original and it's in good condition - no splits, frays, exposed or brittle areas. The sockets appear to have been swapped out at some point in time for newer ones (see photo). The lamps are in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having the wiring inspected by a licensed professional prior to long-term use. The lamps are being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - please ask any questions that you may have, and we will respond back to you in timely manner.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to their fragile nature, each lamp will ship in its own separate parcel, just to be safe.
