ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a cool pair of vintage four-legged, black wire metal framed accent lamps with pink fiberglass clip-on shades. Circa '50s. Each lamp has a rotary knob switch that is located by the underside of the socket for functionality. No labels or tags present - uncertain as to the maker.
MEASUREMENTS: With the shades attached, each lamp stands approx. 9" tall (measured from the resting surface to the top of the shade) x 5" wide (between legs) x 5" deep (between legs). The pink fiberglass clip-on shades measure 4" tall x 3" in diameter (top opening) x 4" in diameter (bottom opening).
CONDITION: Overall the lamps are in good condition. The black wire bases show some minor scattered paint loss, but nothing objectionable given their age. There are no dents, dings, breaks, repairs, etc. One of the fiberglass shades has a few broken holes where the lacing goes through. The material appears to still be there, so you can also glue it back and then re-thread lacing (see photos). The fiberglass is free from burns, stains, etc. Displays nicely as they are. The wiring appears to be good - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamps are in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring before long-term use. Being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing as all sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
