Vintage MCM Brass Lamp Fiberglass Shades Mid Century Modern 50s Lighting Adjusts

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage atomic era table lamp complete with its original double-tiered fiberglass shades. Circa '50s. The lamp features 5 sockets - two to accommodate normal size bulbs, and the remaining three which accommodate smaller decorative size bulbs (see photos). The two fiberglass shades screw directly onto the threaded light sockets, and they are completely adjustable at their attachment points to the extended brass arms - the shades can move up/down, left/right, backward/forward, and in/out. This allows the lamp the ability to take on many different configurations. The main sockets each have their own on/off rotary knob switches, so they can be controlled independently. The three smaller sockets have an on/off push switch that is located on the central column which allows them to be all on or off at the same time. The fiberglass shades are original to the lamp - they are double tiered, beige in color, and have random arc designs painted onto their outer surfaces (see photos). We are uncertain as to the maker - there are no labels or tags present. We have seen these lamps attributed to Majestic over the years, but we don't know whether or not that is accurate. It's a great lamp and it's suitable for all interior settings.

MEASUREMENTS: With the two fiberglass shades directed upward, the lamp stands approx. 30" tall x 22.25" wide x 8" deep. When the shades are directed in the downward-most position such that they are slightly positioned outward, the lamp measures approx. 22" tall (measured to the top of the uppermost small decorative bulb) x 31" wide x 8" deep. The two smaller decorative bulbs in either side are positioned approx. 15" high from the bottom of the base. Each of the two fiberglass shades measures approx. 7.5" tall, with the smaller upper tier measuring 5" in diameter, and the lower larger tier measuring approx. 8" in diameter. The round base at the bottom of the lamp is approx. 8" in diameter.

CONDITION: Very good condition. There are a few small tarnish marks on the brass base, but nothing objectionable (see photos). Everything else looks to be in great shape. The shades are free from having any issues - no rips, holes, tears, burn marks, etc. Lacing appears to be original and in nice shape. The wiring and sockets look to be original to the lamp, and they have no issues to report - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having the wiring inspected by a licensed professional prior to long-term use. The lamps are being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - please ask any questions that you may have, and we will respond back to you in timely manner.
