RARE Vintage BRADLEY Lamp Ceramic Geometric Fiberglass Shade Mid Century Modern 1950s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a RARE vintage table lamp complete with its original matching fiberglass shade. Manufacturer: BRADLEY (see attached original label). Circa '50s. Design: Geometric. The base is ceramic, while the shade is constructed of fiberglass. The designs on the shade were done in such a way as to accentuate the larger design on the base. It's truly fantastic! Colors: Beige, Brown, Black. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is situated at the socket for functionality. As mentioned, the lamp still retains its original silver foil label on the back side of the base. This is certainly a well-cared for specimen from the period, and it is suitable for all interior settings.

MEASUREMENTS: With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 31.5" tall x 19.5" wide x 11" deep. The slightly pyramidal-shaped ceramic base measures approx. 14" tall x 8.5" wide (bottom) x 5.25" deep (bottom), and 8" wide (top) x 5" (bottom). The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 19" high. The matching fiberglass shade has a shape that echoes the base, and it measures approx. 15" tall x 17" wide (top) x 9" deep (top), and 19.5" wide (bottom) x 11" deep (bottom).

CONDITION: Very good condition. The ceramic base is free from chips, cracks, scratches, breaks, repairs, etc. The fiberglass shade is also in great shape - there are a few pieces of lacing that have separated, but they don't appear to be affecting the structural integrity of the shade. It is free from rips, holes, tears, burns, repairs, etc. The painted on designs are nice and show really well. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it is in good shape - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As is the case with all vintage lighting, we always suggest having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described". Please ask any questions that you may have prior to purchasing, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner.

NOTE: This is a large lamp, especially the fabulous shade. While we are experts when it comes to packaging and making sure our items arrive as they were described in the listing, this lamp will still need to ship in two separate parcels - one for the shade, and the other for the base. We are not going to take any chances with this one.
