Vintage MCM Imperialite Metal Glass Ceiling Fixture Light Mid Century Modern 60s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage ceiling light fixture that was manufactured by Imperialite. Circa '60s. The fixture features a white glass shade that is surround by a gold wire mesh cylinder (see photos). Everything is held in place by three brass metal rods that screw directly into three evenly spaced positions on the outside of the light socket (see photos). The fixture still retains its original labels. It's a great fixture that is suitable for all interior settings.

MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 9.25" tall x 5" wide x 5" deep.

CONDITION: Very good condition - no breaks, repairs, dents, dings, rust, oxidation, chips, cracks, etc. There is some white residual paint along the edges of the brass ceiling canopy from when a previous owner painted the ceiling around the fixture (see photos). The wiring appears to be original, and in good shape. The fixture will need to be hard-wired into place. As is the case with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use.
