ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage ceiling light fixture that was manufactured by Imperialite. Circa '60s. The outer lattice-style shade is constructed of metal, and it forms a cage around the cylindrical milk glass shade insert on the inside. The cage is actually two pieces which are held together in place by three small metal screws (see photos). The fixture still retains its original labels on the inside of the ceiling canopy (see photos). It's a great fixture that is suitable for all interior settings.
MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 10.5 tall x 10.5" wide x 10.5" deep. The cylindrical milk glass shade insert on the inside measures approx. 8.5" tall x 4" wide x 4" deep. There is approx. a 7" drop of chain between the ceiling canopy and the top of the fixture itself.
CONDITION: Very good condition - no breaks, repairs, dents, dings, rust, oxidation, chips, cracks, etc. The fixture could benefit from a gentle cleaning, but it does display nicely in its current state - we didn't attempt to clean it in any manner - it is being presented for sale in the condition in which it was acquired. The wiring appears to be original, and is in good shape. The fixture will need to be hard-wired into place. As is the case with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. This fixture is being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - if you have questions, we encourage you to ask them prior to purchase, and we usually can respond back to you within a short amount of time.
