Vintage MCM Boomerang "Z" Floor Lamp Fiberglass Shade Mid Century Modern Atomic Era 50s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage "z" or boomerang floor lamp with its original accompanying fiberglass shade. Circa '50s. Materials: brass, metal, fiberglass. The lamp features two black metal boomerang-shaped accents sandwiched between curvy brass (see photos). The fiberglass shade is designed to mimic the shape of the brass. It is a beige color with black green painted designs on the entire outer surface. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket for functionality. There are no labels or tags present - attributed to Majestic or Luxcraft.

MEASUREMENTS: With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 68" tall x 18" wide x 14 deep. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 55.5" high. The shade measures approx. 12" tall x 18" wide x 14" deep. The black boomerang shaped accent pieces each measure approx. 8" long and they are separated by approx. 8" in height from one another. The round brass base at the bottom of the lamp is approx. 9.5" in diameter.

CONDITION: Overall the lamp is in very good condition. The round base at the bottom of the lamp has some scattered tarnishing / superficial scratch marks, but nothing terribly alarming. There are no dents, dings, breaks, rust, etc. The fiberglass shade has one stable break in the lace, but is in otherwise beautiful shape - no rips, holes, tears, stains, repairs, burn marks, etc. The electrical wiring is in good shape with no issues to report - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - if you have questions, we encourage you to ask them prior to purchase, and we usually can respond back to you within a short amount of time.

NOTE: This lamp is very LARGE and FRAGILE. It will ship in two separate parcels - one will contain the base, while the other will contain the shade.
