Vintage MCM Sculptural Wood Brass Tripod Lamp Mid Century Modern Heifetz Noguchi Atomic Era 1950s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage sculptural tripod lamp. Circa '50s. Materials: Wood, Brass. The brass intersects the wood at one side of the lamp, and it forms two of the three legs. The back end of the wooden cut-out base forms the third leg. The lamp has an on/off toggle switch for functionality. We've seen the lamp attributed to Heifetz as it is very similar in style to other lamps that were created by him, but we're not 100% certain if it is, in fact, a Heifetz lamp. Either way, it's super cool and seldomly seen for sale. No shade present - it'll be left up to the purchaser to provide their own.

MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 19.5" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial. x 8.5"wide x 6" deep. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 11" high. The wood element of the lamp is approx. 7.5" tall x 8" wide x 1" thick.

CONDITION: Good condition. The lamp has finish loss on the wood element of the base (see photos). It can easily be sanded and stained, or just left alone. We chose to leave it in its original condition. The brass legs are in great shape - there are no dents, dings, rust, repairs, etc. The electrical wiring appears to be original, and it's in great shape - there are no frays, splits, exposed and/or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. The lamp is being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - if you have questions, we encourage you to ask them prior to purchase, and we usually can respond back to you within a short amount of time.
