Vintage MCM Chalkware Faux Wood Panels Lamp Mid Century Modern Lighting 1960s CS Co.

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage textured chalkware lamp from the 1960s. The lamp is stamped ©64 CS, Co. towards the bottom edge along the back side of the lamp. The lamp body is textured, and is beige in color. Along the body are eight (8) faux wood panels on the surface (see photos). The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket for functionality. There is presently no shade - it will be left up to the purchaser to provide their own.

MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 31" tall (measured from the bottom of the round wooden base to the top of the harp) x 8" wide x 8" deep. The distance from the bottom of the wooden base to the light socket is approx. 23" high. The chalkware portion of the lamp measures approx. 18" tall x 8" wide x 8" deep. The round wooden base at the very bottom of the lamp is approx. 6" in diameter.

CONDITION: Very good condition - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and is in good shape - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly urge having the wiring inspected prior to long-term use. Being sold "as-is" and "as-described".
