ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage adjustable gooseneck desk lamp with pierced metal cone shade. Circa '50s. The lamp is gold in color, and features an on/off push button switch on the weighted round metal base. Unmarked - we are uncertain as to the manufacturer.
MEASUREMENTS: With the adjustable gooseneck stalk in the full upright position, the lamp stands approx. 17.25" tall. The pierced metal conical shade measures approx. 8" long (measured from front to back) x 5" in diameter (at the opening). The round weighted base at the very bottom of the lamp measures approx. 6" in diameter.
CONDITION: Good condition. There are some tarnish marks on the base surrounding the on/off push bottom switch, as well as some faint superficial scratching - not major at all, but being mentioned for accuracy. The lamp is free from dents, dings, breaks, repairs, etc. The gooseneck stalk functions as intended, and holds its positioning without any issues. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it is good shape - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas to the wire. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. The lamp is being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner. All sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
