ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an unusual vintage abstract / biomorphic chalkware table lamp. Circa '50s. Materials: Chalkware. Colors: Antique white with gold and black paint splatters throughout (see photos). The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch located at the socket for functionality. We are uncertain as to the maker - there are no labels or tags present - in all of our years collecting lighting, we've never run across this one before. This lamp does not come with a shade - it will be left up to the purchaser to provide their own.
MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 21" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the light socket) x 10" wide x 6" deep. The rectangular base measures approx. 10" wide x 6" deep. The height of the body of the lamp, excluding the light socket, is approx. 18" tall.
CONDITION: Decent vintage condition, but not perfect. There is an old repair to the rectangular portion of the base (see photos). Said repair is located on the right side of the base at the back and it stretches over to the right side (see photos). It looks to have been carefully done - at first we didn't even recognize it, but alas, it's there. We feel it was done well enough such that it isn't readily noticeable unless one is closely inspecting it. Aside from that, just some light surface wear to the paint in one spot (again, see photos). There are no other issues that we can report. The electrical wiring appears to be original with no issues to report - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. It is being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - please ask any questions that you may have, and we will respond back to you in timely manner.
