Vintage 60s Kawano Kaoru Woodblock Girl Red Mask Retro Mid Century Modern Japan Sixties Modernist Wall Hanging Art
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage modernist woodblock print by Japanese artist, Kawano Kaoru (1916 - 1965). Features a girl with a red mask. Signed by the artist in pencil in the lower left-hand corner of the artwork, and it also bears the artist's red cartouche symbol slightly above (see photos).
Measurements: Including the wood frame, it measures approx. 20.75" wide x 16.75" tall. The visible artwork measures approx. 15.25" wide x 10.5" tall.
Condition: Good vintage condition! There is a small 0.5 scratch to the paper in the upper right-hand section of the artwork (see photo). The matting is also a little bit soiled from age - nothing overly bad, but we are mentioning it to be accurate. There is no glass on the frame - it'll have to be replaced. There is a wire hanging mechanism on the back side for hanging. Displays well, and is ready for a new home.

We will gladly "reserve" or "hold" an item, but it will require a 25% non-refundable down payment. Balance due will be spread out over installment payments, one being due two weeks after the initial down-payment, and the final payment (which will include the listed shipping expenses) will be due two weeks after that.
