Colorful Vintage 60s Abstract Chalkware Lamp Retro Lighting Mid Century Modern Sixties

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a monumental abstract ceramic table lamp base that dates back to the 1960s. The lamp features various raised abstract shapes in blue, yellow and orange going around the base, and each has gold highlighting throughtout. The chalkware component on the base rests atop a round wooden base at the bottom, which has protective felt on the underside. The lamp has an on/off rotary knob located at the light socket. No signatures detected. There is no shade, harp or finial present - that'll be left up to the purchaser to provide.

Measurements: Approx. 27" tall (from the bottom of the base to the light socket) x 8.5" wide. The round wooden base measures approx. 6.5" in diameter.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. to the chalkware portion of the lamp. All of the colors are still vibrant and they display very well. The round wooden base shows a few small scratch / scuff marks. They can easily be filled in, or just left alone - we chose to leave the lamp in the condition in which it was acquired. The electrical wiring is in good shape - no frays, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we'd recommend having the wiring checked by a licensed professional prior to long-term use.
