Vintage 50s 60s Metal Hi-Lite Desk Task Lamp Retro Mid Century Modern Atomic Era Eagle Fifties Sixties

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a nice vintage Hi-Lite desk lamp / task lamp that dates back to the 50s or 60s. Manufactured by Eagle (catalog no. 340), and still retains its original label on the bottom of the base. The base also features an on/off rotary knob which is used to control the functionality of the lamp. The neck of the lamp between the metal base and the shade is completely flexible, and allows the lamp to take on many different possible configurations. The lamp comes with a lightbulb, and it is in fully functioning, working order. The lamp has a small pull-out metal tab located at the base which allows the lamp to hang on a wall as a fixture, if desired.

Measurements: Approx. 16" tall x 3.5" in diameter (measured at the bottom of the round metal base).

Condition: Good vintage condition - shows only the slightest signs of wear that would be considered commensurate with age and handing. There are no chips, cracks, dents, dings, repairs, etc. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it too is in very good condition - no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc. The lamp is in fully functioning, working condition.
