Vintage MCM Alladin Iron Table Lamp Ceramic Dish Mid Century Modern Lighting 50s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare, original iron table lamp believed to be designed by Alladin. Circa '50s. The lamp has a cloth like shade wrapped around the iron framework, and a rectangular off-white ceramic dish off to the side which also rests inside the framework of the lamp. It retains its original on/off pull cord switch located at the light socket, as well as all of its original rubber caps on the bottoms of each of the legs. Unsigned.

MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 13.75" tall x 14.5" wide x 6" deep. The shade material around the framework measures 8.75" tall x 5.75" wide x 5.75" deep. The ceramic dish sits approx. 4" from the surface that the lamp rests on, and it is approx. 7.5" wide x 6" deep x 1.5" tall.

CONDITION: Very good, all-original vintage condition - no chips, cracks, breaks, bends, repairs, etc. The iron framework shows signs of minor color loss - nothing objectionable, but being mentioned for accuracy. The shade material shows minimal fraying along the top edge, as well as some minor wear to the inner lining at the upper edge (see photos) - neither is objectionable, but both are being mentioned for overall accuracy. The ceramic dish could use a gentle cleaning, but is fine as it is - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The wiring is free from frays, splits, exposed wires, etc., and is original to the lamp. The lamp is in fully functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we'd recommend having a licensed professional have a look at it prior to long-term use.
