Vintage Portable GE Turntable Record Player V638N General Electric Solid State Phonograph 70s

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage GE (General Electric) Solid State portable turntable / record player / phonograph. Exterior is tan plastic, while the interior is an orange color. Model V638N. It still retains all of the original labeling inside (see photos). It can play at 3 different speeds: 33, 45 and 78 RPM. The volume control is on the exterior of the case (see photos). NOTE: The record used in the photos to test the unit is not included.

Measurements: Approx. 13" wide x 12" deep x 7" tall.

Condition: Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The case is in great shape. We've tested it with several records, and it appears to be working fine - no skipping, dragging, etc. It appears to maintain the proper speeds when set to different RPMs. While the quality of the sound is that of a vintage turntable when compared to new units, it appears to work just fine. The needle that came with it seems to be good as well, but probably old - can't say for certain if it needs to be replaced, but seems to work properly.
