Vintage 70s Nautical Clipper Ship Painting Wall Hanging Mid Century Modern Stormy Seascape
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a wonderful vintage seascape or nautical oil painting done on canvas. Circa '70s. Professionally framed. While we cannot clearly make out the signature, the painting is signed by the artist in the lower right-hand corner of the canvas (see photos).
Measurements: Including the frame, approx. 19.5" tall x 23.5" wide. The visible artwork alone, excluding the frame, is approx. 11.5" tall x 15.5" wide.
Condition: Excellent condition - the canvas is free from rips, holes, tears, stains, repairs, scratches, blemishes, etc. The wood framing was done professionally, and it is in great shape - it only shows the slightest signs of wear commensurate with age and handling - it appears to have been well cared for over the years. There is currently a wire hanging apparatus on the back side of the frame for hanging / display purposes. We will gladly "reserve" or "hold" an item, but it will require a 25% non-refundable down payment. Balance due will be spread out over installment payments, one being due two weeks after the initial down-payment, and the final payment (which will include the listed shipping expenses) will be due two weeks after that.
