Vintage Abstract Religious Paper Mache Madonna Child Sculpture Mexico Mid Century Modern Signed
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage Madonna and Child abstract sculpture. Circa '60s. We believe it to be paper mache, as it is rather light weight. The surface is black with painted white drizzle on top. While we cannot make out the signature entirely, it is signed on the bottom, and it reads Made In Mexico, Madonna Escultura (see photos).
Measurements: Approx. 16.25" tall x 9.5" wide x 7" deep.
Condition: Given its age, while not perfect, we'd say it is still in good condition. There are minor surface imperfections throughout, namely scattered paint loss in areas and along the edges. It can easily be touched up, or just left alone. It displays nicely as it is. It is being sold in the exact same condition in which it was acquired. We will gladly "reserve" or "hold" an item, but it will require a 25% non-refundable down payment. Balance due will be spread out over installment payments, one being due two weeks after the initial down-payment, and the final payment (which will include the listed shipping expenses) will be due two weeks after that.
