RESERVED FOR CARRIE.....Vintage 70s Marc Creates Brutalist Steel Wall Hanging Sculpture Mid Century Modern Marc Weinstein

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a nice beautiful vintage wall hanging sculpture by St. Louis artist, Marc Weinstein (aka Marc Creates). Circa '70s. Features a series of bow-tie shaped steel pieces that are welded together. This piece still retains the original Marc Creates gold foil label on the reverse side (see photos). This sculptural wall hanging has two round wall hanging mounts on the back side, as well as fused spacers which allow it to project outward from whatever surface one decides to hang it on. PLEASE NOTE: This wall hanging is fairly heavy, and it has sharp points - it will be very carefully packaged for shipping.

Measurements: Approx. 34" x 34" x 4" deep (varying depth - 4" being the max from the hanging wall surface).

Condition: Very good vintage condition - no broken welds, chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The front side is a painted taupe color, while the back side is exposed steel. Not sure if the previous owners painted the front or not - we have seen others in the past with the front side painted. Also, a few of the tips on the steel pieces show slight bends - they can easily be straightened out, or just left alone - barely visible, but being mentioned for accuracy.
