Vintage 60s Witco Wilrongo Don Quixote Metal Wood Sculpture Wall Hanging Mid Century Modern Art

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage Witco / Wilrongo Don Quixote sculptural wall hanging. Circa '60s / '70s. Sculpture is metal with wooden accents pieces mounted onto a large wedge-shaped wooden back board. Overall the piece has a lot of depth to it. Unsigned insofar as we've been able to detect. There is a small mounting hook attached to the back side for hanging. Will look great in any modern interior setting!

Measurements: The convex wood that the sculpture is mounted to measures approx. 30" tall x 11.75" wide x 3" deep (at its deepest at the center). The metal figure measures approx. 31" tall x 7.25" wide x 2.25" deep (raised from the wood on two metal screws). The maximum depth, which we measured from the back of the wood to the bottom of the flag pole, measures approx. 9.75" deep. The figure of Don Quixote alone measures approx. 26" tall.

Condition: Very good condition. The wood shows some general signs of wear and natural imperfections as can be expected from age and handling - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. It is a little dusty and could benefit from a cleaning - we just left it in the condition in which it was acquired. Displays very well, and is ready for a new home!
